Sustainability

Sustainability includes how you handle data and AI.

Your customers, banks and partners already ask about it. The law sets the minimum, and their questions go further. We help you meet the rules, document what you do and show it, so the answer is ready when someone asks.

Where data and AI fit in sustainability

Sustainability is usually split into three parts, often shortened to ESG. Two of them are about how you treat people and how you run the company. That is where data and AI belong.

E

Environment

Climate, energy and resources. Important, but not our field.

S

Social

How you treat the people whose data you hold: customers, employees and users. Privacy is part of this.

Where we help
G

Governance

How you control and document what the company does, including the AI tools your staff use every day.

Where we help

The law is the floor. Trust is what you build on it.

Following the law keeps you out of trouble. Being able to show how you handle data and AI is what makes customers, banks and partners choose you.

TrustCustomers choose suppliers they can rely on.
What others requireCustomers, banks and public buyers ask you to show how you handle data and AI.
The lawGDPR and the EU AI Act. They apply whether anyone asks or not.

Why the questions are coming to you now

Even when the sustainability rules don't apply to you directly, they reach you through the companies you work with.

  1. Large companies report

Companies with more than 1,000 employees and EUR 450 million in turnover report under the EU's sustainability rules from financial year 2027. Privacy is one of the topics.

  2. They ask their suppliers

To report, they need answers from the companies they work with. That includes you.

  3. Banks and investors ask

The EU's voluntary standard for smaller companies, from 2025, lists the data points banks, investors and corporate customers typically request.

  4. Cyber rules reach suppliers

Since 15 January 2026, companies covered by Sweden's Cybersecurity Act must assess the risks in their supply chain.
