Our Story

Make it easier to take control

In May 2018, the GDPR law was introduced to improve the protection of users’ personal data and therefore their privacy in Europe. Companies drafted new privacy policies to ensure that the user is very strongly pressured to accept them to continue using their services. In this way, the GDPR directive has had a partially counteracting effect.

Late 2018, Anders Fridlund came to the conclusion that users lacked information about their new rights and did not know what to do to protect their personal data.

The idea of a technical solution was born to make it easier for people to take control of their data.

From idea to reality

Anders Fridlund teamed up with Mattias Fernström and Patrik Persson. Together they developed high-tech solutions to help users understand how their personal data was being processed and provide the software to protect it.

Help businesses to follow the law

The team soon realised that there were no technical solutions available in the market to help companies implement GDPR.

This led to the idea to create a solution to help companies handle their customers’ personal data. In 2020, their expertise was further strengthened with Per Morau.

A move to Ideon Science Park, Lund

The company moved to Ideon’s incubator programme in Lund in 2020. This creative environment is the perfect place to grow a start-up and to start work on a high-tech GDPR solution for companies.

Innovation project – RISE

Since 2022, Pinteg has been part of the largest research project on personal data. The research is being conducted by the independent, state-owned research institute, RISE.

Partner – Moll Wendén Advokat Byrån

The business law firm Moll Wendén and Pinteg met in 2021 to discuss how they could join forces to take the data protection work in Sweden to the next level.

Product launch – Fairity

Late 2023, Pinteg launched its GDPR cloud based platform called Fairity.

The complete package

Together with Moll Wendén, Pinteg are now able to offer organisations and businesses the complete package – A GDPR SaaS platform with Fairity and expert legal advice from their partner Moll Wendén.

Fortnox Marketplace

Fairity is the first GDPR integration software available on Fortnox Marketplace.

Fortnox is Swedens leading cloud based platform with products such as, accounting, invoicing and financing for businesses.
